At MPI's first investigation at the Locker Room Saloon in Utica, Michigan, one of the team's stationary cameras detected some mysterious motion in the basement, in an area where activity had been reported by various staff members. At the second investigation, a camera was again set up in the same area where the anomaly was previously detected. Upon reviewing the footage recorded that night, the motion seen in the video clip was seen. In an attempt to determine the nature of the motion in the footage, team members returned to the saloon and begain examining the area where the light is located. The basement is an enclosed area with no windows, thus drafts are non-existent in this area. During the investigation all compressors and cooling equipment had been switched off to reduce background noise and audio contamination, and thus could be ruled out as a source of motion. All persons present that night were accounted for at the time of the activity, and tests of persons moving on the area above the light caused no motion down below - in fact, observing the light during a busy saturday night, with nearly two hundred customers present in the bar, dancing and moving around, produced no motion whatsoever in the string. During all followup investigations, a camera was left focused on this area, and no further motion was detected. As with all of the evidence presented here, MPI invites everyone to reach their own conclusions. We invite comments and discussion on this and any other topics in the official MPI Forums. |
