How do i request an investigation?

If you would like to request MPI perform an investigation for you, simply contact us. Visit our Contact page to see the various ways that you can reach MPI.

What happens once i contact mpi?

Once you have contacted MPI, one of our representatives will attempt to arrange to meet with you in person, at a time and date that is convenient for you. At this meeting, team members will interview you and any other persons affected by the activity in question (if possible). From this interview, we will collect as much pertinent data as can be obtained, as well as observe the areas where activity is being reported. This will allow us to create a list of equipment required for the investigation, and also determine the size of the team needed to conduct the investigation most efficiently. Once these determinations have been made, a time and date will be selected for the investigation itself to occur.

When will I receive any results?

After an investigation is completed, a thorough analysis of all data obtained must be conducted. MPI strives to complete this analysis within four weeks of the conclusion of an investigation, and provide our final report and its findings to you. Please keep in mind, however, that MPI is a strictly volunteer organization, and its members have a variety of obligations (full-time careers, family issues, etc.) that may delay the presentation of our findings to you. In all cases though, MPI will make every attempt to return our findings to you as quickly as possible.

Does mpi charge a fee?

There is no fee for any of the services provided by MPI. Metro Paranormal Investigations is funded solely through contributions by its members. We will never ask for any donations or payment in any form from our clients. MPI is a not-for-profit organization licensed with the state of Michigan.

What areas does mpi cover?

MPI primarily covers the state of Michigan, as well as northern Ohio and Indiana. MPI is headquartered in Macomb Township, located in Macomb County, Michigan. Due to our limited resources (see Does MPI charge a fee? above), MPI cannot normally honor requests for investigations outside of our normal operating area. However, a determination on such requests will be made on a case-by-case basis. In the event that we are unable to accept you as a client, we will make every effort to place you in contact with a reputable group located in your area.
