Our mission
The members of MPI believe that our mission can be best summed up in one sentence: we are here to help and to understand. The members of Metro Paranormal Investigations are here to assist anyone experiencing unexplained activity. Several members of MPI have experienced paranormal activity in their own lives, and understand how confusing or frightening such occurences can be. MPI does not render judgment about a person or situation beforehand, instead allowing the evidence collected to speak for itself. MPI believes that every client deserves to be treated with respect, and to know that there are options other than living with fear or confusion.
Further, MPI also strives to help expand knowledge of the paranormal through proven research techniques, as well as education for those interested in learning more about the paranormal world.
Our methodology
MPI uses a strict set of protocols when investigating reports of paranormal activity. All evidence is reviewed, and any anomalous findings are further examined by multiple team members in an attempt to determine the nature of the data collected. MPI also actively searches for more conventional reasons for reported activity, attempting to find rational explanations for conditions reported by our clients.

MPI has been featured in a number of media outlets, including print, radio and television, as well as speakers at various events. MPI and its members have been seen in or interviewed on Coast to Coast AM, The Mitch Albom Show, The Detroit Free Press, Detroit ABC affiliate WXYZ TV, Detroit NBC affiliate WDIV TV, and numerous others. MPI is always available for public engagements at schools, libraries or events - simply contact us for additional information.
Our mascots
MPI has many members in its extended family, some of which walk on more than two legs. Our pets help relieve the stress of a long investigation, make us laugh, and are there for us unconditionally.
