The interior of the historic Howell Opera house. Built at the end of the nineteenth century, the Howell Opera House would routinely entertain crowds with a variety of stage entertainment. Shut down due to its inability to meet safety code in the 1920s, the Opera House stood abandoned for several decades. Today, efforts are underway to restore this building to its former grandeur.
