The secondary gate at Historic Fort Wayne. Guarded by a set of massive, thick wooden doors, the gate was further flanked by multiple cannon and rifle ports. Any attacker wishing to breach the fort through this entry would find themselves under a withering defensive fire before reaching the gate, and additional ports located on the side walls would provide defenders with additional means of attack on the helpless opponents outside.
